Rebecca is a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist (CBT) and a life transition coach (retirement, relocations, job loss,) who has a passion for encouraging others to explore possibilities that therapy can bring. She specialized in a solution focused approach. She enjoys seeing positive changes take place, confusion turn to clarity, relationships improve, and see others make sense out of their lives. She believes everyone has a right to live healthy and fulfilled! Therapy can be a a vehicle to accomplish that means and therapy can be an adventure, a new beginning, a discovery of hidden treasures that when discovered can lead to "a better way of living".
Rebecca grew up in Houston, a big city in Texas. She came to San Antonio to finish her master's while here she fell in love with the beautiful Hill Country and the small town atmosphere, so she stayed and has made it her home 20 years later. Family and friends come and visit from her home town and laugh at the sign that hangs in her home "Life is too short to live in Houston, TX, by the way she has no plans in moving anywhere else.
Rebecca is an avid traveler. She has a variety of other interests such as spending time entertaining at her home as well as at Solid Rock Ranch, one of her biggest passions. Her and her family have established a ministry there serving families and individuals in crisis. They have created a program for Veterans and First Responders providing them a place to heal and retreat from their challenges. The fishing is great, as well as the kayaking, and the ziplining. The conversations around the campfire are the best in the country!
Rebecca's faith is the corner stone of her life. She has had the incredible opportunity to witness God's work on mission trips from Nicaragua, Honduras and various places all over Mexico. She has a deep commitment to serving God and inspiring others to see his amazing love and grace!
